Unlimited Immigration | ||
There are two reasons for the uncontrolled immigration that our country is experiencing. First, 'Trade in Services' means the buying and selling of people and jobs. The United States Congress is essentially selling American Citizenship to offset the trade deficit. That is why India, China and Mexico have been so brazen about demanding entry to our country for their citizens. Secondly, the massive inflow of people represent new consumers in a feeble attempt to prop up our consumer economy. Obviously however, the more people come here, the less buying power consumers have because our shrinking job market won't support them causing wages to be driven down which further degrades the consumer market. It is sheer insanity. |

The
following is an excerpt from an email I
received from Protect Arizona Now
(PAN). Pan has been battling the
illegal immigration problem because
illegals are flooding into their
state. It shows how the
Congress is facilitating the unlimited
migration under cover of other
legislation.

SHOCKING/DISGUSTING REAL I.D. ACT. Did
you wonder why the Real I.D. Act's
Senate ride went from John McCain and
other senators asking Bill Frist not to
take up the Real I.D. Act this year, and
Bill Frist saying he doubted if the
Senate would take up this measure during
2004, to the Real I.D. Act passing the
Senate 100-0? Thanks to the Senate and
the House-Senate Conference Committee,
the Real I.D. Act was amended to
include: B. REMOVAL of the cap (was 1,000) on the number of Chinese and others who may enter the U.S. as refugees based on their countries' one-child-per-family policy.
D.
Increase in the number of highly skilled
Australian workers to 10,500. AND THIS
HAS TO BE YOUR FAVORITE: E.
ONE-YEAR ELIMINATION OF THE ANNUAL CAP
(was 66,000) ON THE NUMBER OF H-2B VISAS
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2005. There are dozens of meaningful bills in Congress that would/could dramatically decrease illegal immigration – bills to put troops on the U.S.-Mexico border (has passed the House), to prohibit paying Social Security benefits to illegal aliens, to encourage state and local law enforcement officers to enforce federal immigration laws, to stop including estimates of illegal aliens in determining population counts for U.S. House of Representatives, stop granting U.S. citizenship to babies of illegal aliens (anchor babies), etc. There
are also dozens of bills in Congress to
create new, uesless guestworker programs
(we already have 79 visa/guestworker
programs now, none of which are
enforced) or outright grant amnesty, as
well as discriminatory bills like the
Dream Act (H.R. 1684) which would make
illegal alien 18-year-olds citizens and
eligible for in-state college tuition.
Rather than dial our fingers dumb,
perhaps we should at least write and
call our U.S. Senators and Congressmen
and tell them in no uncertain words that
we are watching their votes and actions
carefully. Tell them that we want our
current immigration laws enforced,
including borders sealed, illegal aliens
deported, and employers sanctioned for
hiring illegal aliens – and we will
accept no less, and that we are not
buying their baloney that "we"
need illegal aliens for any reason, that
illegal aliens are doing jobs Americans
won't do, that employers don't have the
tools they need to be sure they're not
hiring illegal aliens, etc. Then, each
and every one of us has to bite the
bullet, and regardless of how nice these
bureaucrats may seem or how connected to
them we may feel, and vote the bums out
next year. |
