My observation has been that the majority of reporters are clueless about the subjects they write about.  They will take whatever is told to them and write as if it is gospel.  In the past I've referred to these reporters as whores.  But it's not a nice thing to call people who aren't very bright - whores.  So I've decided that in the future, I will call them gosling reporters.
